Ubon Ratchathani is one of the larger towns in Thailand with a population of about 100 000.
Ubon Ratchathani is the largest province of the North-East. It borders, in various points, Kampuchea and Laos, this frontier zone constituting what one recently commonly called "The Emerald Triangle ", in relation to the vast one extended from intact forests of monsoon which cover the area where three countries meet.

The provincial capital, Ubon Ratchathani, are a plentiful center in full progress, which constitutes a door of increasingly important access for Laos, and a sympathetic nerve not of stop for those which return and return from there to Thailand.
