The Province of Satun is located in the Southern area of Thailand. It is bordering on the Malaysian provinces of Perlis. The islands of Koh Turatao, are a natural reserve.
Satun, just like provinces close to Krabi and of Trang, is a true country of the wonders for the explorer where who it goes in the province. The National park Taruato, largest of the three, is composed of more than 50 Virgin Islands where the pure landscape and natural water of this marvellous ground, with its bright and intact coral reliefs, leave the visitor pantois respect in front of such a solemn beauty and splendid. |

One can traverse the kayak or rivers of the park by boat, and the ways of the island to foot. Moreover, while going down, in the south of the peninsula of the province, close of the border with Malaysia, the National park is Thaleban, richly and sumptuously papered of a dense wet, and covered tropical forest of a jungle without age, shelter of vast and amazing quantity of varied birds and of a wild fauna. |
